Well fear not festival fever has officially hit, and with it comes a fashion frenzy. Unfortunately, if you haven’t got a ticket but want to go to Glastonbury this year, you’re all out of luck. But wait…what’s even better than a party in a soggy British field? That’s right a party on a European beach, obviously! Hideout, Novalja, Pag Island, Croatia. 26th – 30th June
A relative newbie to the festival scene Hideout is only in its 6th year but has already become the go to festival for sun seekers everywhere! Set on the Island of Pag this hedonistic beach side location is absolutely stunning! Expect to see pool parties happening in the daytime, and open air festivals after the sun goes down and way into the wee hours. With rave reviews for its previous sell-out events make sure you don’t get marooned ashore and catch one of the festival’s legendary boat parties!
If you love Ibiza and do not welcome sleeping in a tent without a shower for 3 this is the festival for you. So what are you waiting for!? Pack up your suitcase and get ready to party from sunrise to sunset with your hottest bikinis and playsuits.
Internacional De Benicassim. 14 – 17th July
A long running classic on the festival scene Benicassim is one Europe’s best known gigs. Set in a lush beach resort Benicassim is the friendliest place ever! Situated right beside the sea, perfect for sunbathing or taking a quick dip during the day, and by night you get to listen to an incredible line-up and dance the night away to Chemical Brothers, Muse, Disclosure, Block party and Kendrick Lamar. Benicassim isn’t the place for street style or fringed jackets. Pack your bikinis, neon brights, ya Kate Spade watches and some oversized shades, chant “Beni, Beni” as loud as possible and voila, you’re ready for FIB.
Sziget Hungary. 10 -17th August
Set on the beautiful island of Óbuda Sziget takes place right in the middle of the amazing river Danube, and its a pretty cool spot for a festival. Cut of from the rest of the city you can get totally lost in the magical madness and overload on festival fun before staggering back to reality a whole 7 days later. Yep that’s right this festival is set over 50 stages and 7 days long…what more could the harder festival go want…? So forget warm ciders and rainy skies, and grab all the essentials you’ll need to turn heads from sunrise to sunset.
